Living Room Design

The client of this living room hoped he could make it multi-functional, in order to best fit how he wanted to use it. It was also a dark space but the desire was to inject personality, and not have 'a white box'.

Zoning the space created spaces for different tasks, adding general, ambient and task lighting to suit the differing activities. Colours, textures and finishes further defined these areas and their uses. Types of light specified, the fittings, and the positionings supported lightening of the spaces, whilst carefully chosen pieces of furniture, prints and accessories injected personality into this room
